Sean Mc Mahon, critic, anthologist, biographer who has published many books, among them The Derry Anthology, A Short History of Ireland and A Dictionary of Irish Quotations, lives in his native Derry.
Brian Lambkin, a founding Director of Centre for migration studies at the Ulster-American Folk Park, Omagh. He is the joint author of 'Migration In Irish History 1607-2007' which will be published shortlys.

After graduating from UCD as an economist, he worked for many years with Córas Trachtála/Export Board in America and Europe. He left the public service twenty years ago to set up companies in new technology and finance/trading with America and the Soviet Union.
Dan Bradley was brought up on a farm near Maghera, Co. Derry. He was educated in St.Patrick’s, Maghera, Cambridge University and TCD where he is an Associate Professor in the Genetics Department.
Gráinne Mc Laughlin, a native of Derry with Inishowen roots has a Classics degree in from TCD and a doctorate from Cambridge University. She has published work on Greek poetry and philosophy and was editor of the journal Classics Ireland. She currently heads an international team of translators working on the Commentarius Rinnuccinianus, a unique Irish Catholic account in Latin of the turbulent 1640s.
Gary Doherty, is a doctoral candidate at Harvard University Graduate School of Design in Cambridge, Massachusetts. His research focuses on contemporary and urban design in the Persian Gulf. Gary previously studied at Carndonagh Community School, UCD and the University of Pennsylvania.
Francis Harvey was born in Enniskillen in 1925 and followed a banking career, including stints in Carndonagh, Glenties and Donegal Town. His Collected Poems from four previous collections, In The Light On The Stones, Rainmakers, The Boa Island Janus and Making History, have just been published by Dedalus Press.
Dan McCarthy, TCD, has academic interests ranging from high performance computer architecture, mathematics and astronomy to the history of the Irish Annals, and he as published on these topics.
Richard Crumlish from Carndonagh is an archeologist based in Co. Mayo. He was educated in Carndonagh Community School, National University of Ireland, Galway , and is a nephew of local historian, the late Conall Byrne.
Marcas Ó Murchú, a graduate in Irish and Spanish from the University of Ulster is Head of Spanish in St. Columb’s College, Derry. His bilingual book Imirce na nIarlaí on the Flight of the Earls was published earlier this year by Coiscéim. An accomplished flute player, Marcas has performed widely and recently released a CD entitled Turas Ceoil.
Eamon Ó Cairdha a native of County Monaghen, has published articles on many topics including Irish Jacobitism and the use of Irish language sources for 17th century Ireland. He lectures in Irish\English Literary and Historical Studies at University of Ulster.
Eithne Ní Ghallchobhair from Ardara, Co Donegal, studied in NUI Galway and Edinburgh. Her acadamic interests include Irish medieval medical manuscripts and linguistics. She is assistant editor Foclóir Nua-Gaeilge at the Royal Irish Academy.
